The Te'nakh'nor turn insubstantial and invisible in light of any kind, making them difficult to track and kill. They are wholly invisible during the day, but under cover of darkness retain a measure of solidity enabling them to wreak havoc on innocent villagers and livestock. The creatures are ageless and difficult to kill, but they cannot reproduce, which keeps their number down to an uncomfortable two hundred. |
